County SHC Draw 2008
To overlook the rest of the group would be a serious error but its the tussle with Garneyside neighbours Sixmilebridge that will draw most interest of Cratloes fixtures in a tough group selected at Aprils County Board Meeting in Ennis lastnight.
Cratloe will square up to the Bridge who have the superior record of the pair for the first time in Championship Hurling since 1995 when the Bridge steam rolled over Cratloe on their way to their All Ireland Club crown.
Cratloe were also pitted against St Josephs Doora Barefield who will be many peoples fancy the emerge from the group. Josephs were knocked out of last years Championship by a fast improving Corofin side who will be out to go further than a Quarter Final spot in 2008.
Tubber who were so narrowly defeated ion Round One of the Championship last season will also be hoping to atone for that result. All in all a tough group for Cratloe. But to be the best....you have to beat the best.
